Default what to get next

guys i am really stuck

i have had a 97 uk turbo with prodrive kit, 96 wrx highly tuned (imo), 51 uk wrx and a p1 (by far the best) which i sold earlier this year to clear some debts etc.

in the new year i wont to get something new but i am stuck i have 16k to play with, needs to have rear seats atleat a 2+2 setup as i have a german shepard so 2 seater is out of the question. the newer the better and would be great to get a warranty either remaining or bought the car from a dealer.

it needs to contend with the p1 which was tuned to 335bhp and 320lb, but i cant make up my mind need some pointers, was thinking the 03/05 sti or maybe a 06 sti, but i have test driven a few (not 06( but they all seem tame compared to the p1 but fancied a change of marque but i just keep coming back to the impreza.

also thought of Evo MR 320/340 and a 4.2/4.5 Cerbera.

what would you get if you sold the impreza?

steve

You'll be lOOking Evo7 for an MR at that money i would've thought.

I reckon either a well-modded 05 STi or an 04 Spec C.

If you're buying now, you should have control of the market. Not many other buying this time of year, so plenty to choose from.

Me, if buying now, for £16k, i would get as above. Although i'm trying not to go forged and save £10k for a Spec C RA.

Hey Steve, hows it going?
I'm not surprised you're having trouble with what to get next, that P1 you had was awesome. Shame I couldn't raise the necessary £££'s to buy it but glad it worked out ok for you selling it in the end.
After a Christmas bargain then?

hi gav glad to hear you got yourself a p1 gtreat cars aint they.

not sso much looking for a bargin just not too sure what to get next, i like the new cars but they dont feel as agressive so every time i drive one i feel let down. i spent thousands on the p1 modding it and did not really want to do it again on the next car to make it feel the same and because as i lost soo much on it.

i coul dpush a little more than 16 just a rough figure to play with. seen a few mr340 for 17kish so that is why i think of getting one as straight out of the box they are great cars and feel a bit more like my p1 compared to the 05 sti's.

thought of the spec c and jdm sti but as i said not too sure if i want to deal with paying for a remap etc as if you are going to do this imo you might as well tweak the exhaust filter and bits to make the 700 remap worth while.

so stuck but still love the classic shape even though every chav punk is getting them, just wish the did the classic shpe but with the refinement of the newer models.
