Bit of advice needed from a knowledgeable bunch like yourselves...
Got a Type-Uk Sti prodrive coming 1st week in Feb,
Firstly, upgraded wheels, (keeping originals for track) what rubber would people recommend for the 18" OZ 10 spoke wheels 225/40's, bridgestone SO3's, yoko AVS sports or Toyo T1-s.
Secondly, headlight conversion, the Uk300 had the WRC conversion, any advice about this on the Sti.
Thirdly, any recommendations for a good 2 din audio head.

Does the UK STI come with the HID headlamps? Would be a shame to lose that for the UK300/morrette setup. My dealer has already offered me some STI lights for my bugeye as STI owner wants morettes..if they are HID then I will be fitting the STI headlamps.
I run 225/40/18 SO3's on my bugeye, they are pretty good IMO. However the 235/40/17 SO2's on my other car are better

Go for either the Bridgestones or the Toyo's as both are excellent tyres but im not sure about the size of them, i think 225/35 may be correct and not 225/40.
You may want to think about changing your brake fluid to DOT 5.1 or better as some reviews have said that the brakes are a bit of a let down (dont have any problems with my brembo 4pots!) and your dealer should be able to do you a headlight conversion (i thought they came with HID lights as standard on the STI??)

remember that the STi comes as standard with 225/45x17 tyres, and so a 225/40x18 tyre would be the closest in terms of rolling radius.

 

Ok, the STI UK will only have HID's if they have washers as that is EU law. I dont remember seeing washers, so I think the UK STI has standard headlights not HID's...

Anyway morrettes seem to be a favourite with the BBS - Cost about £400 painted at scoobysport, tsl etc. Upgrade to HID is an extra £400ish i think

Your dealer will be able to sell UK300 lights for about £600 I think, and DR Motorsport sell some other rally lights for about £400...

There you, choice is yours!
