I changed the downpipe on my car on my drive, 01 sti, something like this:
Drive car up on ramps.
Undo downpipe to cat pipe or cat pipe to centre bolts, and retaining bolts. Disconnect lambda sensor and unclip wiring if required.
Disconnect pipework to intercooler, intercooler pipe to turbo, dump valve piping or dump valve itself. Remove intercooler.
Remove heatshield.
Undo top turbo to downpipe bolts.
Undo lower turbo to downpipe bolts.
You may have problems with some of the bolts from turbo to downpipe, some times they need warming up with a blowtorch.
Potentially not a nice job to do on the driveway in this weather. Better if you can do it indoors.
I struggled to reach the intercooler fittings once the car was up on ramps so it may be easier to undo this stuff first with the car on the floor, then jack it up and use axle stands instead of ramps.
Good luck

I considered doing this mod myself as I am reasonable with a spanner, but after I was quoted £90 inc VAT from Prosport I thought sod it, let them have the headache.
