Warranty work 05 sti
I have just had my rear shockers replaced on my 05 sti (uk obviously), they were just making a 'knocking' noise when reversing
They said that it has been a common problem on these cars and had a few back in.
Anyone else had this issue with theres?
What other things are coverd under warranty? My mate has just bought a brand new honda civic type r and went back to get the wheel bearings replaced as they were whining, and they said it isnt coverd under warranty even thought the car is only 6 months old

Rear struts on UK STi
Just do a quick search and you will find loads.... Subaru finally refused to replace mine even though it had been reported under warranty due to the dealer (who will remain nameless) being completely useless...
BTW on my previous car, a MY02 UK Sti PPP

I've had all 4 changed under warranty. Several batteries, even the brake discs skimmed. No other problems, or quibbles about it being an modded EU either.
I thought under warranty, meant everything on the car. That's shocking about the Honda.

The rear shocks is a common problem, hopefully should be the only warranty claim you have.
As for your mate, he needs to call and speak to the Managing Director of Honda UK and request his comments.
