Hope someone can shed some light on this for me

I have been having issues with my heater taking time too warm up since i got the car 2 weeks back.

Anyway when i pulled up this morning there was no problem with the car the engine temp was just under half way, five mins later theres steam coming up from my bonnet!!!

i popped the bonnet and water is bubbling out of the side of my header tank.

when i checked the engine temp it was still under halfway.

Any help appreciated

Sounds like either a blockage, or an airlock. I'd reckon airlock.

Easily remedied by a decent garage.

I hope it is bud , they are going to replace the header tank and Thermostat when they get the parts on friday- if they can get the parts.
