AFAIK the current SVA rules makes importing cars under 10 years of age rather expensive.
I'm starting to see more early Type Rs popping up on ebay and import dealers.
Do you think that over the next few years we will have an influx of late classics from Japan? What will this do to the UK market which is already rather depressed.
IMO a long term keeper of a classic Impreza is likely to want to get a mint late classic and maybe a rare version like an STI RA or similar. I think we will start to see many late classics imported as the cost reduces.

Desirable cars such as Type-Rs will be too expensive to import if our residuals continue to fall. We arent the only people bidding on these cars.
