Default Bodyshop/Repair garages in/near bucks and northampton

Hi,

Need some recomendations for a decent bodyshop/repair centre in and around Milton Keynes/Northampton area.

Long story short, to avoid a **** of a driver I had to kerb my car resulting in a smashed up driver side wheel, wishbone, quickrack steering (STi 6 Type RA), possibly bent driveshaft, STi 6 suspension arm (sheared off the hub) and what looks like a buckled suspension turret, probably as a result of the wheel being pushed back and taking the suspension strut with it (thankfully the strutbrace stopped it getting any worse).

From what I can tell, its just a case of repairing the panels and replacing the busted parts.

I don't know any garages who specialise in Subaru's, only place I found is called Discount | Ford - Subaru - Isuzu - Chrysler - Dodge - Jeep - Daihatsu - Kia | Main Dealers with Internet Prices | New Cars - Vans | Used Cars - Vans | Dealers | Northampton | Northamptonshire | UK | Westaway | Westway but don't know if these guys are a bunch of stealers.

Any and all help will be appreciated so I can get my car back on the road!

Hi mate...

I can personally recomend RGR Garages at Cranfield... near Newport Pagnell...

I have had all my cars sprayed there including a full respray of my 02 STI in WR Blue..

They do a fantastic job and have a complete bodyshop for all repairs etc.

Give Tom a ring on 01234 751145 let him know Andy from Newport recommeded you!

cheers

Andy

Cheers bud, what are the costs like and will they be able to fix the above damage?

I had a proper look this morning with the wheel off, not actually as bad as I first thought however there are a few parts that need doing (cross member is bent where the wishbone attaches to it).

I am planning on sourcing the parts from Jap Performance in Crawley and supplying the bits to whoever will do the job properly.

Thanks again,

Fz

Hi Mate...

They can perform miracles in their shop.....

some of the cars I have see there have been in a right mess - heavily smashed up and they also do insurance smashes!.....

Best bet is to call Tom - he is the bodyshop manager who would be able to advise you in price etc...

I have been very happy with all the work they have done for me..

Andy

Cheers guys, don't want to travel too far as the car is imobile being only on 3 wheels - I'll give those two a ring tomorrow and hopefully breath a sigh of relief.
