After picking my type r up from buying I travelled pretty much exactly 200 miles on my way home, sitting at a steady 70 mph all the way (apart from the occasional blast! ) and it used just over half a tank! I was well happy! Probably never see that again tho!

I once tried for 400 on a long journey with mine, got to 340ish before getting to bored to continue at 60. I'm sure it could have been done with more patients.
My best was on a run down to Dorset for along weekend. I got 351 out of 54.09 litres which was just under 29.5mpg and that was sitting at 70 on the motorways
Well, i got one million miles to the gallon! Then i woke up.
Modded 03 WRX and i get 300 to a tank regular BUT i am a puff of a driver just lately. I just aint found any time nor safe times to do any proper driving.
Since i got off nightshift and back onto double day shifts the roads are too busy
Don't know what all the fuss is about. Regularly get high 20's mpg in normal conditions and that's with the remap. Seems bad but when you actually sit and think about it like this scoobies aren't as bad as they seem.
I always set my trip meter and im always surprised by how much I actually get to a full tank.
I used to have an RX7 (FD) and if I was lucky I would get 180 miles to 60 litres, and that was when I didnt boot it!! If I booted it then I was lucky to see 120 miles.
So scoobies are actually quite good on fuel for the performance that you get in return.
