Default FAO Scoobyclinic 1998 mapping

Howdi, any chance you can post some details of this new gadget that allows you to map 1998 cars please??? just a rough price will do, and a bit of info on whats involved would be great!! Cheers, Si

Yes it can not a problem to do the MY92-96 cars, the 97-98 version of the system I use will be available during the 1st half of the new year I am advised.

Can get you a Adaptronics unit supplied, fitted and mapped for around the £700 quid mark Gav...

Si,

we've been mapping 1997/1998 cars on the OEM ECU for years, the only thing that's new is that ESL are bringing out a competing product in the new year... the only reason we don't "push" either of these solutions is because it's poor value for money compared to a PowerFC etc but for those people that just want the creature comforts and safety of the stock ECU we have done, can do, and will continue to remap OEM ECUs of *ALL* years. Most of the 22Bs that we've remapped have been on stock ECUs, though.

Sorry to hijack this thread,
But, to Pat and Bob Rawle, how much will it be to fit the Esl chip when it comes out or indeed how much to re map stock ecu now if it is possible as i've come across the same problem as most, as many tuners say an aftermarket ecu is the only way.
