Cool Which turbo/intercooler?

Hi chaps, still waiting for a ring from pro sport to get my car tuned up but in the mean time. What size turbo can be fitted to my '07 2.5lt wrx without having to make major internal engine modifications. Second question. Which front mount intercooler would be best , one that won't allow a pressure drop, which I'm told can happen with cheaper models. That said I don't have Bill Gates bank account at my disposal. Try not to be too technical I'm a newbie to the world of modifying.

APS are considered one of the best intercoolers. Hyperflow also has a good name.

Are you planning to track the car a lot? Otherwise maybe a FMIC is not needed (and you could spend it on other mods)

You really need to set a target for what bhp your actually wanting.
Unless your going for mega power then stick with the TMIC. The original subaru top mount is actually very good, If your not looking to go over 400bhp then just use an STi8 onwards TMIC.

Sorry about the above had'nt finished. If the tmic is changed for an sti8 and I have an sti air filter, after market exhaust, new intercooler hose and a re-map what potential bhp could I be looking at. I would like eventually to get to 350bhp but think it will have to be done in stages. Just wish I could jump the waiting list at pro sport.
