hi changed my rear box on my 2004 sti to a prodrive box and have noticed the tip of the box gets very hot its clearing the bumper just but sits about a finger gap away from the bumper is this 2 close? is it going to melt my bumper its been on about a month and i cant see any damage so just want to know if i am ok or need to move it cheers

Mine get hot after a long run/ a good thrash.

Been on 18 months & hasnt melted anything yet !

if its nigling at you, take it to a specialist or an exhaust company and have them pop it off and adjust the hangers. give a little more clearance and piece of mind...

Should be OK. Mine's been on for over 2 years without a problem and it does sit pretty close to the bumper too.
