Default what would you buy

a version 3/4 impreza sti
a version 3/4/5 evo
a e36 bmw m3
a friend of mine has a budget of £6000 and he is intrested in the 3 cars mentioned.
out of the 3 mentioned cars has anyone owned any or all, and how do you rate the 3 cars.
i know they are all different cars but i would be intrested to hear people's comments on the 3 cars.
any information anyone has about any of the cars would be appreciated as you can go for a test drive for 15 mins but i think he would gain alot more information from someone who has owned and used one or all of the cars on a daily basis.

out of that list I think the v5 evo, easy to make good power out of it, of course you have the AYC diff thing and the short service intervals. Might be hard to find one for 6k though.

Dont think you'll get an Evo 5 for that money personally. Even if I found one at that price I would be very suspicious about it!!

Depends if your mate is wanting to keep the car standard, if not then I would choose either the scoob or the evo, as there alot easier to "modify"
