i have just reallised( while reading scoobynet ) that i had my 15000 mile service on my P1 in december and my dealer did not do the bodywork inspection/service.
i will be on the phone first thing in the morning!! imagine if i didnt get it done and then needed a problem sorted in a couple of years!! sorry sir your warranty is void!

should they have known? do P1's have this done?

Yes P1`s do have the body service i had mine done with the 15k service in December.(Stinks of underseal for about a week)

Shop around - I saved 50 quid by phoning round different dealers.

They don't do it as a matter of course, you have to book it in.

No it was not the local Swindon dealer,but Listers of Worcester where i got the P1 from, top blokes.Not sure if they send out reminders as i booked it in when i picked it up,a couple of months inadvance of due date.

This is a bit of a grey aera but here goes..

A dealer won't (normally) just do the body service unless you ask for it. It is due strictly on time and not milage. Most dealers will offer it when due, because after all it's more work for them.

It's due at 1,3 & 5 years, +/- 1 month. If you have gone over this, speak/write to Subaru UK and your dealer, get the service done and things back on track.
