Smile My98 v4 sti pistons

Can anyone tell me if there would be a problem in fitting my98 forged sti pistons into a 2002 sti block? I have a melted piston and these are an option for replacements,or are they?

Ver 4 pistons normally sit just proud of the Block/Deck Height and use Thick Steel head gaskets whereas the later STi's ( Ver 5 on ) use Thin Steel head gaskets and the pistons are flush with the Block/Deck Height.
You might end up with Compression ratio problems and Valve/Piston contact.
David @ API Engines would tell you for sure

As he says - don't fit them. Call me for an option at sensible money.
