Leaky boot on Hawkeye?

Leaky boot on Hawkeye?
Went to look at a brand new hawkeye today and inside the boot lid it had condensation suggesting the boot is leaking. Is this a common problem?

it happens on a lot of cars without lining/ insulation.

I should still say its leaking to reduce the price
