Clutch advice please.
My car is a uk turbo on an Xreg. When initially starting off the clutch will judder. The car changes gear fine and its not slipping. I would say its more noticable when cold, but does happen most of time when warm, but not nearlly as bad? Question's are-.
1. Has anybody else experienced this?
2. What are the chances of it being a clutch?
3 The best place to get a replacement from?
4. Cost?
Oh and its done 59k, and has also been remapped, producing 280ish
Abit gutted as ive only had the car two weeks, still love it though.
Thanks for any pointers. Dan

Known 'problem' with these cars when cold Dan. Apparently something to do with clutch materials (?). Should not be an issue when warmed up though, so you may have a problem.

Dan, not sure if you noticed but my clutch does the same too but more so when cold first thing in the morning. My old clutch I could stop this problem for a while by doing a quick launch.

My 01' car is exactly the same. Always seems worse on damp cold mornings.
A good old fashioned launch sorts it out for a while and it's usually fine when its all warmed up.

Normally deposits or high spots on the flywheel. A couple of hard launches might help, otherwise skim the flywheel or upgrade (or put up with it).
At 280ish I would buy an uprated organic clutch.
There is a group buy going on at the moment for Exedy uprated clutch + flywheel combo
