Default Fifth gear churned out thee first ever decent programme tonight!!!

what do you lot think.

Thought the octane booster report was interesting, all giving a 2% power loss, you would have thought they would have told you if any of the products gave an increase in octane though!! lol Muppets

Another poorly researched programme. They missed out some of the more popular brands NF, Millers etc.

They did the same when they compared fuels - they missed out Tesco 99.

May be the engine they tested doesn't have a smart ECU with auto ignition advance

It was a rover k series engine iirc, NA.

The guff used was something like

STP summat
Wynn's summat
summat summat
NOS summat

All the sort of guff that you would see on Halfrauds shelves and not put anywhere near your scoob engine lol.

There was no Millers Octane Plus, CVL or NF used. I didn't watch the whole article but housemate showed me parts of it. God knows what guff fuel they used too.....

Not so fussy nowadays, I'd still tackle her in the rough.
