MOT Question
My cars going in for its MOT tomorrow so I was just checking all the basics. I've noticed that I have a crack on my front number plate, where a stone has hit it.
Is this deemed as a MOT fail?

This is taken from the VOSA website:
Registration plates must be present, secure, show the correct registration, colour and be the correct size, format and font. MOT testers are not required to carry out physical measurements but will complete a visual inspection.
So i'd say as long it's secure it shouldn't be a problem.

Looks like you guys were correct yet again. It passed no problem at all. The guy did mention the reg plate but said its not a MOT fail but would advise getting it replaced. Got some new plates ordered up now anyway.
