I travel the M4 at least twice a week in my 03 WRX and noticed that there has been several occasions when going past the Newbury junction, that my CEL either flashes about 4 times, or stays on continuously and needs to be reset. Most recently (today) with a P0301 fault (cyl 1 misfire).

Has anyone else noticed this phenonemon?

If you are heading east past J14 to 13 you will also see a red "Works Traffic Only" Sign. Only the MOD use these...............................nudge nudge wink wink say no more!

I never used to get anything going past there at least twice a week for 18 months. Probably something to lure people into the services as Welford is too far away IMO from 13 to do anything on a regular basis or I'd hope! But I am sure Ian knows more about it than I.
