Whenever I have fitted boost gauges, including my defi one, I have always taken it either directly off a nipple on the centre of the Inlet Manifold or spliced a t piece in to one of the tubes coming off a nipple from the Inlet Manifold going off towards the bits on the passenger side of the car .

Look at the area where the BLUE vacuum hose is. Although mine is a classic, it should all be pretty well the same.

ah, now would that still apply if you had a Bailey style BOV or a circulating one like i think yours is. I noticed on mine even though its an aftermaket BOV there is still a pipe coming out of the top. Access is better if i T off this side for sure

Yes it should still apply. I have simply always done off the inlet manifold as it has seemed to be the 'cleanest' way.
