Afternoon all,

My car is shortly due its 5 year 50K service. I am currently in the process of shopping around and comparing prices. However the prices are massively different, which is probably down to the amount of work I am being quoted on as different places are telling me different things are required.


Can anyone tell me what is completed on a 5 year service at a main dealer –

Oil change
Filter change
Cam belt
?
?
?
?
?
?

By the way the car is an Impreza WRX 52plate.

 

Cam belt definitely ...

 

Cam belt
Engine oil / oil filter (new sump washer)
Air Filter
Fuel Filter
Coolant
Gearbox oil
rear diff oil
Brake Fluid

I think thats it... (off the top of my head) I can check when i get home

 

Why not just look in the service book?

 

Thats what i'd do

 

As above, service book tells you what is to be done on each service. If a garage tells you different, then bin them, they don't know what they are saying.
