Car will run differently depending on fuel. Dump a tank of v power or something in and after a few miles you should notice the difference? I believe the newer scobies adjust quickly to the fuel thats in them

It should say on the petrol flap to use 98RON or higher. The car will run on normal unleaded as stated in the handbook but performance and driveability will be reduced. If you switch to Tesco 99 or V-Power/similar you will get back the performance once ECU learnt new fuel.

I also have a 2004 WRX (MY03) and inside the fuel filler flap there is a sticker that says it should only be run on 98RON fuel or higher - does yours not have this advice??
