Just seen it in AutoExpress.
Lowering the entry price of the UK spec to under £20k could be a real good move.
Sorry if its been posted already lol

I'm sure I read somewhere that they will only bring in 300 WRX'ss in total over the next 2 years.
100 cars during 2007 and 200 cars in 2008
Not a lot to go round LOL

I reckon in 2 1/2 years time once mine is due to go I might actually like it
Its growing on me and fast. Superb value for under £20k as they say.

It doesn't look that bad in the metal - those photos don't do it any justice.
As I thought IM are being greedy - it's £2k too much IMHO. These are £14k in the states. Still if they don't want to sell many (!) I can't a problem shifting them. Good solid niche motor, reliable, fairly quick.
Look at the car tax :0 - band G £400 quid next year and going up exponentilly after that IMHO.

It wouldn't pull back the skin from my bell end mate. Look at the competion VXR, Cupra, ST, MPS. All these are cheaper more powerful (except for the ST ) and are all better looking. The Astra VXR and MPS do 0-60 on 6.2 which is quicker than the WRX and thew VXR and MPS are fwd.
The other hot hatches also have a better combined mpg and don't fall inti the top tax bracket. Well done Subaru u pack of *****.

Are you feeling alright Snazy? You can get a WRX 07 for £14k at Motorpoint, what is it that makes that new ugly piece of poo, superb value at £20k?

The value is based on it being a UK spec car, which compared to the UK spec car of current is cheaper
Imports may be cheaper, but I dont care right now as I have my new car.
btw.. £14k is the surface price not OTR... it changes slightly once you add it all up
