Hello

After my first trip to the Nurburgring Im now looking for a fun new car to replace my deisel Astra and my search has ended up looking at a Scooby Imprezza. One concern is running costs as I am (unfortunately) not rich, are they expensive to run and what is servicing like?

Any common problems to look out for when viewing an Imprezza?

Insurance is pretty cheap although it needs a tracker, but they dont seem to expensive?

Is it easy/cheap to tune a standard 220bhpish WRX a little to give it a bit more beans, nothing mad, just 260bhpish to bring the power to weight up a bit?

For a sub 6-second car I don't think it gets any cheaper. As a 4-door family car it's quite expensive.
