I was going to fit a new stereo in today but im not sure about all the extra wires that are behind the console ..........
Does anyone know what these could be ,
the first pic is inside the passenger footwell
and the second is well ,the back window but i dont know what the thing is that is covering the heated window bit ............
just to add ,on the first pic from the little boxes are 4 black cables with little jack plugs that are just layed under the mat and also theres red wire in the stereo part that has "acc" stamped on them ????????? any ideas

If I'm not mistaken, that an aerial/antenna. How is your radio signal? I'd prefer one of those to my pillar mounted one that I have to pull out all the time.

I havent put the radio in yet ,i just wanted to know what the cables were for. There are 4 loose blck ones with little jack pugs but they all come out of the little boxes in the first pic ...........

I'm not sure what the boxes are. Is that some Japanese writing on them? Anyway "acc" normally means an ignition live. So they must need power for something. Does your car have any external aerials?

that is defo an aerial in the rear window, but as to the boxes im not sure, my car was a jap import and there are all sorts of cables behind various parts of ther interior, i choose to ignore them and never had a problem yet.
