Default Do 53-55 plate rear lights fit 07s?

Really want to change the rear lights on my car to the previous style, I just prefer them. But do they fit?
The current style only has one reverse light, one fog light, so some wiring would prob need to be done?

Just wanna know if they fit so I can buy as set I have found.

Bought them anyway. Size and shape is the same, so will have to see whats involved when they arrive now

Just realised, with these lights, and the new number plate, mine is gonna look like a blob eye from the back now

lol glad im not the only one who feels that way about them.
Just get the impression the wiring is gonna be slightly different. With the hawkeye only having one reverse and fog, and also seperate sections of the clusters being brake lights.
This could be more grief than I was hoping for but hey!! All in the name of vanity.

Well they have arrived now
Complete with lightboard and bulbs, and all connections.
So I might be lucky and the plugs might be the same (fingers crossed)

One of them is a little scuffed, but im hoping I can polish the worst of it off.

Have you considered the 06 rear lights. they are grey and not chrome and look much better IMO, I think a few 07 owners have swopped theire for 06 clusters.

Not the closest pics in the world but all I have at work I'm afraid, the Chrome on yours is matt grey on mine, and if its not the Lexus theme that you object too then these are fine, I really like them myself.

Aaah gotcha

More of the reason I want these is they have 2 fogs and 2 reverse lights, as well as seperate brake lights. All the things I hate about the 07 ones lol as it has none of the above.

I must admit the one fog and one reversing looks pretty rubish, I am thinking at some point about getting a left hand drive left hand light so I have a pair of rear lights with clear revering lenses in, then I was going to put a red bulb in the new reversing light and use that as a fog light. This should balanace up the rear of the car and still leave me with a fog light, may shine a bit pink though.

Hope that makes sense.

This is what I'd done on my Foci ST and it worked really well, also passed most MOT's like it, the right reversing light is from a left hand drive car, pic below.

Yeah makes sense to me mate. A friend did it with his Nova

Tinting was a kinda option, but being the car is black too, I thought it would be a bit much.

Ref the tints, I'm sure I have seen some custom fit tinted covers on Ebay in the states for Hawkeye lights, defo seen them for the front, they actually didn't look too bad and were removable so when your fed up with the look you can whip them off.

I think older lights may date the back a bit early, the clear lenses freshen it up IMO.

Voila, all finished

I have to say, so so simple. Straight swap, no messing about with wiring etc. So I now have..

2 reverse lights
2 fog lights
seperate brake lights
and non nasty lexus style rear lights in general

Chuffed to bits. Just got to get some little marks polished off the lenses.

Mine is a euro car, with one red one white. Not seen them with matching clears tbh, but guess its possible.
Was gonna say I could maybe have worked something out with you about the lights, but hey
