is there any difference between facelift and non facelift bonnets

Yep, the facelift bonnet has a bulge down in the middle of it from the middle of one side vent to the middle of the other, the pre-facelift is a flat bonnet. I could be wrong (and I'm sure I'll be corrected if I am) but I think that's the only difference in the actual bonnet. Other bits like the grille, etc. were altered with the facelift as well.
