Default Servicing???

Im after a bit of advice on servicing my Bugeye WRX. The milage is coming up to 40,000 and I have owned it about 6 months so am looking at getting a service done. Ive been in touch with Subaru main dealer in Nottm and have been quoted £230ish, they said 40,000 mile service was only oil and filter change, is this right?? Im just wondering whether its worth keeping up the main dealer service history of if I should take it to Scooby Clinic?, What have your experiences been and would I get better value for money going to Scooby Clinic rather than Main Dealer.

I have never been impressed with main dealers before with any of my previous cars, they just dont seem to care about what they are doing!?.

Thanks for your help

Scooby Clinic will get high recommendations without a doubt mate.

Service schedule....Subaru Services at Graham Goode Racing

Service costing, last time I looked GGR and Subaru were roughly the same..

Not recommending GGR, just have all the stuff on their site as reference. But they are an option, I have used them and was very happy with the service. That was for a C service.

Thanks for the info mate.

The Graham Goode service schedule says that the timing belt should be changed at 36 months/45,000 miles, my car is a 52 plate and has done 39,000 miles so should I really be looking into getting the timing belt changed aswell??. The main dealer I went to said the service I need is only oil and filter change.

My last one was changed at 50k, I thought that was about right, so you might have some time left.
What you need is really gonna depend on what its had previously really.
