Go to another area and use their A&E mate, you car can be replaced, your back...... only get the one.
Gutted about the car though dude Hope it works out for the best and is duely replaced with something equally good

Main things is your "ok" ish, how was she out of interest, what was her attitude like. Also what was she driving and how bad ?

she was fine about it, admitted liability on the spot in front of several witnesses, gave me all her details, i took plenty of pics of my car and her car which was a 53 plate polo..ill try another local hospital later on, as for the car yes its getting replaced with something better, im deciding between a sti 8, R33 Gtr, 350z convertable or a Dc5 integra

Fair play mate there is a positive on the horizon for you then
I was the same when I was rear ended by an uninsured driver. Hurt and off work for 3 months, car wrecked, but got a better car from it and an almost full recovery

Glad she has been ok about it too, always easy. Not that she can argue it.

The problem is if she admitted liability, especially in front of witnesses then her insurance company might tell her to **** off, which means you might end up pursuing a claim against what amounts to someone who is uninsured.

There's usually a clause that essentially says don't admit to **** all!

25-30mph impact. If it were a 50 impact she'd be in your back seat...not much metal in the boot of a classic shape scoob, barring some tin foil

If roof hasn't flexed it is feasibly repairable. But being an old classic the cost to repair is going to outweigh the car's value

Done quite a few classic in this way...most where the driver found their nasty tendancy to swap ends and go back wards into a nearby object (good in the twisties? ). Worst one was a light metallic green UK, two new rear quarters, new boot floor, new boot, inner and outer bumper and rejig the rails - both of which had bent inwards. Car was boarder line write off, and that was only 12 months old.

good news is her insurance company have just called me and have admitted full liability with no questions asked, so its going to be a straightfoward claim, yes the car was up for sale, it was booked in to zen for a gearbox rebuild and timing belt service next weekend and was going up for sale on snet and piston heads but i guess that wont be happening now...just awaiting a loan car

Sorry to see your damage. On the upside, maybe you can have a deal with the insurance company and buy the car back cheap, sell your bits on Snet and with the profit buy some add ons for your new car!
