rubbish, it took me about 3 hours to change mine, take downpipe off turbo, unscrew the heat shield from the exhaust manifold and remove then uncsrew the up pipe from the manifold, unscrew 6 bolts that hold manifold to engine and drop on floor. unscrew 5 bolts that hold uppipe to turbo and wiggle pipe down the little slot until it also ends up on the floor, repeat to reasemmble not forgetting to replace the gaskets if you need to.
tools needed are a ramp, a socket set and a beer.
4 hours max including chatting time.

Done mine on the slope of my drive and crawled around under neath with the osf wheel raised up on some wood..... as long as the bolts are not all rusty and siezed up (very common) then its not that hard and certainly no engine out job.... does a jar of vaseline come with the price to lube you up a little before they completly shaft you?

Time question aside, £45 + VAT/hour is a great price for a main dealer. Most of them charge a lot more to screw your car up for you. The garage I bought my car from was paying about £60+vat to the local main stealer, and that was after his trade discount
