Default Bug Eye PPP vs Classic Sti - The better car??

As above really. I know there are lots of STi variants but I'm thinking along the lines of a 99 - 00 car. As for the bug eye I'm thinking a wrx with the PPP. Which is the better car in terms of both everyday use and all round driving experience?? Obviously they are quite different but I'm just after opinions really. Not too interested in people's views with on the looks, just the things mentioned above.

Cheers folks

Cue posts by various scoobynetters in favour of their own car.

Briefly, one is faster and the other is better built and safer.

You said you wanted the car for everyday use and that makes a difference too.

Agreed on both accounts

I owned

1) MY99 UK
2) MY02STiUK PPP
3) MY99STi JDMType R
and now a MY06STi JDM Type20

OK personally I prefer the newage on most fronts

But if you are doing "Milage" you may well prefer the newage over rawer standard Classic STi JDM

IMHO

Owned a nice Classic plus drove a couple of new age variants.

Classic is or certainly feels quicker and more raw although can be a bit twitchy where as a new age is more planted and forgiveable and better
for long journeys etc.

Newage does not seem to pick its heels as early up as quick as a Classic though
