Default Anyone Tried This Mod Before

Extensively dyno tested

This kit works in just the same way as a chip (such as those sold by Superchips) but does not require opening of the car's delicate Electronic Control Unit (ECU). Instead the kit attaches to the wiring which is easily accessible under the bonnet - which in turn leads back to the ECU. This kit also gives you fully adjustable control of the power your car develops. This way you can have extra power when you need it and standard economy when you don't (or anywhere in between).

Position 0 - car unaffected, normal fuel consumption.

Position 1-10 for increased fuelling and advanced ignition - depending on your needs.

"Chipped" cars have more power because they have increased fuelling (more petrol entering the cylinders) and advanced timing (makes the spark plugs fire a tiny bit earlier). The VariPower kit achieves these two functions in a different way to changing the expensive ECU chip. It connects to cables which are easy to get to under the bonnet or at the ECU and gives you a totally variable controller.

"We have sold hundreds of VariPower units over the last few years and gained the most wonderful feedback. Customers only need to look back through the feedback to see how well these units work. The gains are huge!"

Save your £4.49. They do more harm than good. It fools your car into running rich, that's all.

PHILR, no one is having a go or trying to take the wee we out of you.

It's just that all the time these things keep on popping up.

TBH I have been tempted myself.

The last remap I had, I asked the mapper his opinion and, he said to me, why are you here & not buying the latest "Gizmo" on E bay??

Cos, I offer a warranty & always map in for safety.

Just looking out for you.

Perhaps you could e mail them & ask for testimonials from "Happy Scooby Customers"

I had the same when I thought about EKtech ( probably not spelt it right) this device gave more BHP, MPG etc Zillions fitted.

TBF when I asked for happy Scooby Customers they gave me a list. I E mailed them and they all said when the Turbo was on boost, the "Gizmo" shut down.

Only time it did anything MPG wise was of boost, on the BHP side, every time you booted it, device shut down.

Hope this helps ( understand where you are coming from with the better MPG angle).

Good luck.

Yep, exactly the same. I wouldn't touch one with mate. The fact that they say a £4.49 pot does the same as a £200+ chip remap is worrying.....

Thanks for making me aware of what I'm missing!

Think I'll stick with the remapp's, Exhausts, Bigger Intercooler, etc, etc.
