I am after a new grill for my MY95 uk turbo. Does anyone know where I can get hold of one that will give a similar look to the updated version (97 on) without replacing the bonnet.

I wanted a better looking grill for my MY96 but I had heard some say that the Revolution grill does not fit too well.

So having got the idea from MarkL I had a go at modifying my existing grill, and it has turned out really well.

This comprised cutting out the centre bar, a bit of filling, then fitting mesh on the back side. You spray the whole lot in Halfords Satin black, and mount the badge on to the grill.

It cost me less than £15, inc mesh and paint.

Looks great.

We've actually stopped selling the early grille just now, until the suppliers get their act together and improve the fit and finish.
Stratman, possibly the same problem that you've heard.
