Has anyone used Pro Sport, Stockport.
Has anyone had their cars tuned at Pro Sport based in Stockport in Manchester. Still looking for a scooby specialist a bit nearer than Chesterfield and Pro Sport name cropped up. Any advice welcome.

I dont own a Scooby, but two of my mates take their there and swear by them, the other uses Ric Wood in Davenport (near Stockport). Another mate takes his GT4 WRC there and apparently a lot of the Focus RS boys use them as well.
They setup my coilovers for the Clio and did a fantastic job setting up all the camber and dampening etc for track use. Very friendly and honest place, recommended.

I live in Blackburn. Lancs. I have had scoobyclinic recommended but thats in Chesterfield. So I was after something a bit more local. I am torn between having a ppp and pro drive spring kit fitted by a local dealer as they said they would turn a blind eye to warranty issues as the car is an import. Or taking a chance on someone like pro sport tuning the car as I am led to believe specialist can get more out of the car without affecting reliability. Hence my search for a decent specialist to go and pick their brains before taking the plunge and pehaps risking the warranty. Though I was told that pro sport warranty any work.

What car do you have? Why is your local dealer "turning a blind eye" to any warranty issues? If it's a jdm, there is no warranty surely?
If indeed it's an import, why would you be looking at ppp? You'd be better off with an uprated exhaust, panel filter and tec3 remap (if it's a my99 or above) than Subaru ppp anyday.
Prodrive springs are a good upgrade, and can be fitted by any grease monkey, well worth going to prosport to get the geometry setup for "fast road" settings afterwards. That alone will transform the handling of the car
As for reliability, as long as you steer clear of induction kits and remap the ecu after any major mods, reliability isn't an issue with a scooby
I'm sure Prosport would warranty any work they did on your car.
It's worth you getting over to your local subaru club as well, the LADS are a very friendly bunch, and I'm sure you'll find some answers there.
