HI
I HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT FITTING A BAILEY DUMP VALVE TO MY MY97, WHAT ARE THE PROS AND CONS OF FITTING ONE, I KNOW MY CAR HAS A RECIRCULATING VALVE , I DONT KNOW IF THESE ARE CRAP OR THEY DO THE JOB

Yes they do the job, just no sound.

If its the sound your after removing the air resonator or fitting an induction kit could be options you consider.

Mark,

Don't waste your money. Just about every car I know that has a "dump to atmosphere" D/V has fuelling problems. The fuelling system is designed to take into account the air being recirculated. Take the air out of the system, and the ecu gets confused.

The only time it's worth changing the D/V, is when your one breakes, leaks, or you up the boost a lot, and it can't cope.
