locking Wheel nut removal !!!!!!!

locking Wheel nut removal !!!!!!!
I have got a locking wheel nut that i think Goeff Capes put onto my volvo and the removal nut has bent and buckled under the strain.
(took the other 3 off when it started looking weak )
So the one which needs removing is the one which the flat tyre is on.
It's also one of those locking wheel nuts with the metal collar on it which spins around the nut so no over sized socket will to the trick either
any ideas suggestions or people done this before ?
Cheers
Chris.

There is a special thing you need. Can't remember what its called now. Its like a socket that goes over the wheel nut but with a screw in the side, you basically tear the wheel nut in two.

I removed mine after loosing the key, Used an old 3/4 socket, Hammered it on and then removed as normal. I was shoked at how long it took!!! I now don't use them, as they aren't worth the money. Better off spending the money on a better alarm, one that scretches when someone goes near it.

i had this problem as i lost the nut. I made a tool at work with the same pin configuration as my locking nut and that got 3 out but of course it broke on the fourth.
I snapped the spinning collar off with a screw driver and hammered a socket on. The bugger was just to tight though. The car was rolling as opposed to the nut on doing!! then the socket rounded off
Getting deseperate at this stage we welded a piece of hex bar to the locking nut and used a big socket and spanner to twist it out.
The ordeal was most annoying yet very satisfying when it came out. Good luck.

just type locking wheel nut removal into google', lots of methods and specialist sockets you can buy, or ring your local tyre place, they probably have the experience and the tools do do it easily.

Just get you socket set out. Find a socket which is marginally too small for the locker then smack it on with a large hammer - then remove
Have never seen this method fail
