I think my Subaru is an idiot magnet
A month ago some (unknown) tool at work drives into the offside, leaving a dent and dirty great scuff. Then on Saturday at the local retail park some other fool leaves a big scratch on the rear bumper. And every time I wash it I notice another little ding from some careless person who's opened their door into it. Is it just me, or does anyone else find their scooby attracts careless f**kwits?

On most occasions when I return to it there's a new dent or crease. I'll get the dent man out to fix it when I have a few more.
No matter how paranoid you are when parking makes no difference either!

Its really strange how the things you care about get damaged. I've got a peugeot 406 as my work horse and I've been forced to leave it in places where I know its gonna **** someone off i.e. outside a garage, across 2 spaces in a car park and generally all those places where you'd look at it and think "you absolute w***er" and yet nothing has happened to date, not even a scuff or car park ding. Even the local Albanian car wash don't scratch it ffs!!!
If I even back my scoob out of the garage, birds **** on it. It gets a new stone chip if I go anywhere and people park so close to it that I have to get in the passenger side and climb over. Fortunately I've not actually received any damage yet but many previous cars have had to endure the carelessness of general members of the public many many times.
Mind you, I think its me and not my cars that attract idiots

At the supermarket I park in the parent and child bays as, funnily enough, we are parents with child! You can't see him or his car seat due to the tints on the back windows, so I generally get angry looks off people....

It feels like that with any car you take care over.
I find the other idiots (those on the road) are more attracted to the Subaru. People driving like clowns to either get away, prove something.
Latest thing this w/end was a saxo 1.1 trying to pull away and make noise with his car. Raining, back end steps out, car goes sideways, manages to recover. I pish myself laughing as we're doing about 40 round a bend. Completely unprovoked.
Not gonna even start on the driving instructor in East Kilbride.
