Default Are RB320's available on a '56' plate??

Just a quick question for the more knowledgeable enthusiast........just been offered by a dealer what is described as an RB320 on a '56' plate, 5k miles for £20k. I can only seem to find '07' plated cars on Autotrader.......what do you guys think??
Dave.

No, she's not in CVC and i've not viewed her yet as i don't know anything about the model even though i own a small Jap import company and have owned/sold 500+ Imprezas. I've just agreed to buy a supercharged Civic Type R & a Skyline R34 GT-R so i'd have to leave one of those as i've got 14 other cars already and can't afford over £50k this week!!
If it's a bargain then someone on here can have her direct from the seller, i'll speak to him today and get the model & build number for any serious potential buyers.......if it's not a bargain that no harm done

No RB320s were on 56 plates... Only the press and test cars (which are just RB320 spec'd STis )

BG56 LLY is a press car...

BJ56 OJS is a test car used and abused on the Prodrive test track.

Doubt either of these are, or ever will be, up for sale.

I saw a certain Colin McRae got into his at the end of February when he was taking part in the Scottish Motorsport Show.
And it was a 56 plate.

Local subaru garage also had one registered as a demo car, also on a 56 plate. It was also at that Show. Genuine RB320, not an STi.

So there will be some out they're.
