Default DO ALL TURBO TIMERS CONFLICT WITH ALARMS???????????

I want to buy a turbo timer but i'm told the alarm will not work properly if a timer is fitted??
My car is fitted with a Sigma M30. I just want something simple which will allow me to set the alarm as soon as i get out of the car but will allow the engine a couple of minutes running before cutting out.
Is this possible without massive expense

As far as I know they all do it.
Clifford has brought a new alarm out now that has a proper turbo timer on it (not the remote engine start)

I believe there was a thread on here which shows you which cable to remove, allowing you to lock your doors when the car is still running. However, since I can't search scoobynet properly anymore, I'll leave it for you to find

I thought you could lock the doors with the key while the turbo timer is counting down, but not with the alarm fob.

Thats how a mate of mine does it on his scoob anyways

Just sit in the car for 1 minute or so and let the turbo cool down, then switch it off

That's what I do anyway !

when my turbo timer is counting down i can lock the door with the toad key fob. At this point taking the handbrake off would turn the car off if someone tried to nick it.

When the car shuts down the immobiliser activates itself after a bit, i think the alarm does too but i'd have to check.
