I might finally get hold of him then!! He has been making me a set of brakes since August last year!! I have finally given up hope of them arriving and frankly dont really want them now. I have repeatedly tried to get hold of him with no luck (Phone, e-mail and letters) so it looks like a might have to sue him to get my money back, which I really dont want to have to do . If anyone speaks to him, please get him to drop me a line.

Cheers

Graham

Unhappy

Seems you're not the only peeps having problems with Godspeed.

Read Nutters post near the bottom. You could so a search and thay SEEMS to be many people complaining of poor quality, and not returning calls. I don't know who is right or wrong though

I was going to use him but heard too many "stories" to risk it. You could always try Rally Design, but I don't know much about them.

Graham , As regards to your order , You originaly ordered a kit for a Saxo , after I had made the kit you told me you were selling the car and didn't want it , You told me you were going to buy another car , an Astra , so you will have a kit for this car , I made a kit for this car for you , to then be told that you had bought a Subaru and wanted a kit for this car which we have done , The reason you will not have got hold of me is I went on holiday begining of december , than have been closed for 2 weeks over christmas , I think I have been very helpful to you regarding your order , especially as I still have the other 2 kits still here , with no one wanting them , The last message I had from you is on 13th November corfirming you wanted red calipers ,

rrww , I have replied to this chap on the RS BB , I am waiting for him to reply to me , what he is saying is not true , read what the others are saying regarding my products ,

thanks , Ian

Ian, thanks for replying. I dont want to start a slagging match or anything. I was told by you that the brakes would be made and sent out in 5 days, 10 at the max, so how come its the 5th of Jan and I still havnt yet got any brakes? you say the last reply from me was on the 13th of Nov, that means that you have had a good 5 weeks to make the kit and send it out. I realise that I changed my mind and I appreciate you helping me out but I think you have had plenty of time to send the kits out. Even so Mark Buckle ordered the kit for his Saxo about the same time I did and he has still to recive the kits, why hasnt he got his kit as he unlike me still wanted the brakes for the Saxo and didnt change his mind?

Graham

P.S Appolgies to the moderator and other folks reading this thread if my problems are getting on your nerves. I cannot e-mail Ian direct as Im having trouble with outlook express at the mo, and this seems the only way Im able to chat with him to try and sort this out.

lol T-uk, I agree with you there mate, I just want to bring the whole thing to an end. I would just like my money back and for me and Godspeed to go our seperate ways. From what I have heard Ian does makes great brakes and he came highly recomended to me by a mate, but I think its best to just call it quits on this one.

Graham

As for the Evo, not really my cup of Tea, I prefer the Scooby

I also agree that I have messed Ian about a bit. But when I originaly ordered my brakes it was the 1st of August, I wanted them in time for a Redline feature on my Saxo. I didnt sell the Saxo until the middle of October, which ment Ian had at least 8 weeks in which to send the kit out for the Saxo. I then tried to buy an Astra Coupe Turbo, I told Ian to make the brakes for this instead cos the Saxo ones would now be useless. Unfortuantely the deal to buy that car fell through and I then went and bought the Scooby. I e-mailled Ian and informed him of this and he said that it would be no problem and that the brackets would need changing as he had already made the kit for the Astra. I have had my Scooby since the middle of November, and its now the first week in Jan. In all fairness I just want to call it a day.

Ian, in your last mail to me you suggested to keep this between us. I posted those replies before I got that mail, and now seeing your point (As I put in my last reply to you) I agree to keep this between ourselves. I hope this can all be sorted soon.

Graham.
