Default Best place for a re-map in south wales

Guys,

Where is the best/nearest place to get my 02 sti ppp remapped.
I live in Abertillery between Newport & Abergavenny

It has the 2nd cat & resinator pipe removed, k&n panel filter fitted.

What is the difference between Remap & Ecutek !!!!

And what gains will i expect.

Regards

Shaun...

Hiya Shaun,

Many of us have been to PowerStation only a wee drive away. They also prep all the Jap Imports for Litchfield Imports and have a top reputation, I have used them three times now. I had a 2001 WRX Wagon with 270 BHP for a 1/3 of the price of a PPP kit

However, WRX RCY, Turbo Dean,VC and Pippyrips have gone to Bob Rawle nr Swindon. Andy F as been used too and a number of threads are in the Wales Section.

Remap and EcuTEK are one and the same. The EcuTEK programme is used to re-map the ECU in your car. It's like Windows XP is used for your computer but you can also get AppleMac if you want.

The remap is done and is bespoke to your car and is not just plug in and go. You can ask for specific criteria when you get it done and sit next to the mapper as they do it. It's very good and not only is performance improved but driveablility and even MPG are better sometimes (depending on your right foot). All this from an Ebbw boy too

Come to the August meet and have a chat. See you there.
