They reckon Millers is the best. But don't forget they don't add much, maybe 0.3 of a ron and not 3 ron as some people think. You don't need a remap to use it. You would be better getting your mapped to suit whatever petrol you can get easy.
They have just stopped selling optimax were I live and nearest place is 30 miles away in wrong direction. So I have had my car remapped using BP 97 ron, it's down about 10/15 brake on what I could have got with Shell but thats life and I don't think I would have gained much more using Millers booster.

Hello Mate,
Cheers for that. My Scoob is mapped for Optimax luclily I've got Shell Garages in every direction where I live and 2 BP's Half a mile away. I havwn't been able to find too much out about Otaine Booster but thought I would give it a try as I had some advice thrown my way by Gaz the Hat. I'm sure he quoted Octaine Booster giving him about 20 extra bhp - thats the way I read it, maybe I'm wrong. When I read about Millers giving only 0.3 Ron I though there must be another, better Octaine Booster out there?
I'm heading up to Skegness at the Weekend and Super unleaded seems to be as rare as Rocking Horse ****!

NF Race is the best, not millers - 60-100mil per tankful - better Ron increase and works out cheaper asyou get several tankfuls of treatment per bottle @ £13 or whatever it is these days.
V Power is as good as Optimax plus booster anyway
Doesn't make sense if you're not decatted

I'm using NF Race Formula. Used in conjuction with Optimax will give you around 104 RON.
Get it over at RCMS, the more you buy the cheaper it is.

3ml, per litre of fuel. So it's half a bottle per 50L / Fill-up. So costs around £5 per tank. I would tip the whole bottle in if doing a track session.
I had it mapped in and gained +20bhp & +20lb/torque. According to mapper is took to it well and was chuffed with feel.
If not mapped in, just gives that greater safety factor margin.
Each time i've modded & mapped i get better MPG, so i don't know how much the OB helped if at all. Currently don't really get less than 270 from a tank.

NF is certainly the best but I wouldn't put an entire bottle in as I'm sure too much will contaminate the fuel - 1/2 a bottle is plenty, I used about 1/3 in my STI RA which wasn't mapped for it but was used for the safety factor.

Now if you're after cheap BHP and improve running costs for a little farting around. What about a 10% methanol mix.
I opted instead for NF.

As said, you can get it from Jennychem. Some of the sub-groups get together with group buys.
Be sure you know what you're getting into first off. Do you have somewhere to store it. Do you mind carrying it in the car? Do you want the hastle of measuring out and filling up?
If you don't mind, then go for it. Good results and costs less than optimax, so car is cheaper to run.
I still might take that route too, but for now i'm still trying to convince the better half that it's easy for her to fill up with the NF.
