Kakumei Headers & Up-pipe Impreza 00-07 £295 Delivered

The headers include an flexiuppie. Am i right in thinking it needs to be a "3 bolt flange for the up pipe" If that makes sense??

Product description: Brand new in the manufactures box Kakumei stainless steel exhaust headers & flexi up-pipe for the 2000-2007 Import & UK Subaru Impreza, all years all models except twin scroll. The stock Subaru headers are extremely restrictive and clearly built to save costs, not power. To remedy this restriction, we offer the Kakumei Stainless steel headers. These headers feature nice, smooth mandrel bends with a much more effective 4-1 layout which improves mid and high RPM torque and power. Not only do you gain performance but the "boxer" sound the Subarus are famous for is transformed, the sound of the car under acceleration transforms from a docile purr to a menacing rumble that sounds unlike any 4 cylinder engine you've ever heard. Sound quality at idle and cruise is increased only slightly. The Kakumei headers are designed to bolt directly in place of the factory header system, all necessary gaskets are included for an easy installation, no modifications to your car are required.

Simple comment here, steel is not flexible! Depends on your mapping/driving i suppose, but i have not heard one reputable person who will recommend flexi up pipes. Andy F's articles in ScoobyMag ages ago proved this when the pipe blew itself to bits on him.
You need a decent set, which will cost more, but horses for courses i suppose. ITs your choice after all
