The Mazda is a better looking car, just a shame its a front wheel drive tyre shreader!

 

TBH, the Mazda looks much better IMHO..!

This new 'Impreza' has a serious problem with the way the wheelbase/OAL/overhang looks..! The front overhang looks awful, way to long..!

I do think the Mazda looks better, but having just read a road test on the new Impreza GT, I think that the beer goggles will come out and will be worn by plenty of people that still buy the Impreza........it is (and I quote) an excellent drivers car.

If you never saw the pictures and just read the test, you'd think Subaru had a winner on the way!!

If I ever get the money for a brand new car, it'll prob have to go on a Mitsi. I hate myself for having to say that but the new Scoob is shocking

 

Initially I laughed at your post, as at a passing glance they do look the same.

However, after looking more closely I just feel sad The Mazda looks better, and I have never liked the look of that in the flesh either
