You CAN get them in hex head and Allen/socket head from Screwfix.com Where the Trade Buys packs of 10 or more: Search Page
You can also go to a local bolt and nut stockist, found via Yell.com the UK's local search engine - search for UK businesses where you'll be able to buy as many as you need and as few as one at a time.
SOME bolts can also be replaced with alloy ones, but be aware that changing to stainless, and ESPECIALLY alloy, don't change any that are high-torque applications as the tensile strength of stainless is less than mild steel, so they could snap.
I've done this on mountain bikes, even replacing disc-rotor bolts with titanium ones for the price.
I've also done quite a few on the Scoob as I remove 'em, buying locally. The stockist knows me now and I get good prices, even a few for free if I only want, say, two.
