n00b needing help !

hi all.
1st, happy new year to all.
hope it brings all you could ask for (nice twisty roads, no gatso's and cheap fuel !!)
in october i got myself a decent job (at last !) and i am now contemplating moving from boringsville (Renault Megané) to Grin-a-minute-ville (Impreza Turbo).
however, i know nothing about cars.
what should i look for in a used Scooby ??
thanks all

Well done on the new job then.
I think you must get one with full service history unless it is very cheap.
Then there is the UK or Import route... Import you get better equipment and usually a few modifications as the Japs like there bolts on's... but they must then be run on Super Unleaded and the insurance is more expensive.. but then I would and many would recommend super unleaded for a uk car anyway...
Get ready for expensive fuel costs... between 15 to 28mpg depending on how heavy you press the loud pedal.
Then it is just the usual checks like when buying a car... general condition etc...
Hope you get one soon, and enjoy, they are a superb car.
PS: I have started on the larger so I appoligise for my typing etc...
