Evo5/6 v Type R
Anyone had experience of both cars and can give advice on how they perform
against each other - Evo5 more than the 6 as thats slightly out of my price range

Back in 98, one of the magazines ran a comparison. (My own car featured in that edition 
).

The E5 was fastest over their timed welsh road section. But,
Given the choice they said that they would have the STI TypeR, as It was more fun and less harsh (surprisingly).
Bear in mind that this was for 'standard' cars, not many of those around these days. (And these were journalist
