according to my '07 schedule, the 28k (36month)service is
1. replace engine oil
2. replace engine oil filter
3. inspect drive belts (except cambelt)
4. inspect air cleaner element
5. inspect disc pads and discs / front and rear axle boots and axle shaft joint portions

the 38k (48month) service is as above with the addition of the following.

1. replace engine coolant and inspect cooling system, hoses & connections.
2. inspect fuel system, lines & hoses
3. replace ir cleaner element
4. replace transmission/differential (front and rear) lubricants (gear oil).
5. replace ATF if applicable.
6. replace brake fluid
7. inspect brake linings and drums (including parking brake linings and drums)
8. perform inspection of brake lines and check operation of parking and service brake system.
9. inspect clutch and hill holder sytem.
10. inspect steering and suspension system.


these were quoted from the '07 handbook maintainance and service section and apply to euro models...

I have just been quoted £399 for my 5 year service or 40,000miles which ever it is
