Default Is Legacy available with single turbo?

I need an Estate car, but have been told that the legacy twin turbo is to be avoided at all costs.

Is there a single turbo version available in the estate ? from 1995 to 2000.

Any advice / help, much appreciated

so i take it that a single turbo was not available intil much later than 2000, so no chance of picking one up for sensible money !!

Was there a single turbo jdm legacy, and how was the power / handling etc of the UK model single turbo.

I'm guessing a lot less powerful than a jdm model would be ?

With leggys, it's easier to use 'applied model codes', then plate years.

Have a look here, to see what I mean.

chassiscodes

Why should they be avoided at all costs?

'avoided at all costs' - utter bollox, the GTB is as reliable as any other Impreza or Leggy turbo.
Mine has just turned 120k and hasn't missed a beat in the time I've had it.

p.s. the standard twin turbo held the world land speed record for production estates at 168mph, maybe he's been told to avoid them cause they're too quick?
