Cool

Hi All,

Just a couple of videos showing SDB at the Christmas Stages Rally at Croft yesterday.

Firstly, Simon going in a (pretty much) straight line

www.a-wee-website.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/simon1_hi.wmvHigh Bandwidth

Then we see Simon in his full sideway glory

www.a-wee-website.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/simon2_hi.wmvHigh Bandwidth

Lastly, can anyone hazard a guess to the comments being made by the co-driver in the Evo in this clip

Hope you enjoy em.

Andrew.

Andrew, sorry to be a pain but any danger you can post the movies in a Mac friendly format? Quicktime doesn't recognise the .wmv files. Then again perhaps someone else can tell me how to get to see Si struting his stuff... er I mean watch the movies on a mac

Brings back memories Simon, had some good sport on the Christmas Stages. Was it a tarmac event this year?

hi richie

yeah, it was about 90% tarmac with a token broken tarmac section. Shame really, but the stages were actually good fun.

They're running the proper xmas stages on the catterick ranges at easter. Going to try to sweat talk tyres northampton into prepping the car for gravel spec in time

All the best

Simon

Sorry guys,

I could put them up in a mac friendly format, but the .wmv format is the only one that compresses the files enough to fit in the crappy webspace allocation from blueyonder.

For instance, the first video comes out at 18Mb in quicktime format vs 2.5 Mb in .wmv

Wink

Did that silver polo that went through the turn after SDB actually make it? Or did it just understeer into the tyres.

Well done to all concerned

Yeah, it actually made it through the corner. Just

I've got footage of quite a few cars coming VERY close to that tyre wall.

Unfortunately I missed the one that went head first into it. If you look at the first clip you can see the debris all over the track.
